HONG LUO is an adult (18+) vertical short drama platform. On your first visit, most short dramas let you watch the first episode for free. For the paid episodes that follow, you can unlock single episodes with coins, or join monthly membership to watch all paid episodes during your membership period. Below, this article explains the differences among the three viewing options, the steps for a first visit, and two series that suit newcomers.
The Three Ways to Watch
There are three main ways to watch on this site, and you can choose the one that suits your habits.
- Free preview: most short dramas offer a free preview of the first episode, so you can judge the pacing, character setup and subject matter before deciding whether it suits you. The preview range depends on each series, and the number of free episodes differs from title to title.
- Coin unlock for single episodes: when you reach a paid episode, you can use coins to unlock that one episode, so you watch only the content you want.
- Monthly membership: once you subscribe, you can watch all paid episodes during your membership period. This suits readers who want to binge a series continuously.
For more on coins, see the Wallet page. Details on membership are on the Monthly membership page, and other questions can be answered in the FAQ.
Four Steps for Your First Visit
- Go to the All short dramas page, choose a series you want to watch and open its series page to read the synopsis and episode list.
- Start with the free preview episode and check whether the storyline and characters suit your taste.
- When you reach a paid episode, follow the on-site prompts to unlock that single episode with coins or watch it with monthly membership.
- If you plan to binge a series, consider joining monthly membership. If you only want certain episodes, a single-episode unlock is enough.
Each episode on this site is short, which makes it suitable for watching on a phone.
